Chris Wilson, Trading Standards Officer at Hull City Council said: ...Anyone who acquired either toy at Hull Fair should ensure it is removed from their children immediately and contact Citizen's Advice in the first instance.... Poor stitching on the toy's seam means it could easily come undone, leaving sharp wires exposed. Wilson added: ...The poor stitching has enough space for a finger to fit through and the seams are very weak. "Additionally, the 'Baby Long Legs' version of the toy is constructed with sharp wire which could pierce the skin.... Any colour variation could be affected \- not just those in the photos. Parents are being asked to immediately take the toy from their little ones if they have one. According to Hull City Council the toys, which are made in South Korea, aren't correctly labelled and fall short of legal safety standards. It's not clear how the toys made their way into the fun fair as another batch was rejected at the UK border in July over safety concerns.
