A JUVENILE suspect has been arrested and charged with the shooting death of two teenage friends. The bodies of Devin Clark, 18, and Lyric Woods, 14, were found with gunshot wounds along a North Carolina hiking trail on September 18 after they were reported missing for more than a day.

Devin Clark was 18 when he died On Wednesday, the Orange County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a 17-year-old juvenile suspect, who was named a prime suspect weeks ago. The identity of the teen has not been disclosed due to their age. "We hope this apprehension provides some relief to the families and friends of Devin and Lyric, who have experienced an excruciating loss," Sheriff Charles Blackwood said. "Obviously, the capture of the suspect does not restore their loved one to them." More on the Orange County case
