A BODY has been found in the hunt for a missing nurse after police discovered an abandoned car by the side of the road. Shauna Brown, 39, was reported missing by her family earlier this month on July 12.

Remains found on hiking trail with clue to victim's identity next to body The heartbreaking update came police said they believe the fatality to have been the result of a single vehicle crash. Brown, an ICU nurse at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, had been heading to school in Alabama when she failed to show up. Columbia Police Deputy Chief Melron Kelly said: ...While we have not positively identified the person inside we do believe it is the body of Ms. Shaua Brown. ...We are working with the family to positively identify her. ...We suspect that something caused her vehicle to go off the roadway and down the embankment. ...It could not be seen from the roadway.
