A MAN killed three other people who were either family or friends before taking his own life, police have said. The horror unfolded when officers in Germany were called by a woman who found a seriously injured man the garden of an apartment building.

Police in the town Weilheim then began a massive manhunt with the help of officers from surrounding areas. At around 7.15pm a passer-by reported a lifeless person on a park bench in the Holzhofstrasse area of the town. When the emergency services arrived, the 59-year-old man was already dead. Based on initially inquiries, investigators assume the 59-year-old man first killed the women, then the man and then took his own life. All four were related to each other or were friends, said police. Police and forensics are at the scene and the Munich II public prosecutor's office has taken over the investigation. It comes after three children and two adults were found shot and stabbed to death at their family home in Germany. Cops found the lifeless bodies at a home in Koenigs Wusterhausen, just south of Berlin, in December last year.
