TWO Brit PoWs freed by Russia are to get bravery medals from Ukraine. Former soldier Shaun Pinner, 49, and Aiden Aslin, 28, were repeatedly tortured.

It's nice to get some recognition' after his Russian captivity The pair, who served in the Ukrainian marines, were captured during the siege of Mariupol in April and then sentenced to death after a sham trial. But they were released in September as part of a prisoner swap negotiated by ex-Chelsea boss Roman Abramovich and the Saudi Crown Prince. The men are due to receive their honours at a special ceremony next month to mark Ukraine's Armed Forces Day. Shaun, recovering at home with his family in Potton, Bedfordshire, said: "I'm thrilled.
