AT least 21 people have been killed and another six injured after a minibus veered off the road and plunged into the Nile. Dr Sherif Makeen, a health ministry official, said three children were among the dead.

Other injured passengers were transported to a local hospital. The bus was carrying some 35 people when it derailed on a highway and fell into Mansuriya canal in Aga town.
