MEGHAN Markle pulled out of an LA event she was due to speak at today out of respect to the Queen. The Duchess of Sussex was due to attend the Variety Power of Women gala to discuss the tropes holding women back.

The latest episode is set to feature comedian Margaret Cho The event would have seen her rubbing shoulders with the likes of Hilary and Chelsea Clinton. But a source close to the awards ceremony said Meghan ...gracefully declined to take part after the death of Queen Elizabeth.... It comes after the duchess paused her podcast, Archetypes, for four weeks during the Royal Family's period of mourning, which ended on Monday.
