THE bomb squad and a SWAT team have reportedly been called into an area along Rodeo Drive on Saturday after reports of a suspicious vehicle. It is unclear if there are other people inside the vehicle apart from the driver, according to CBS. The vehicle is reportedly at Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive where a standoff with cops was underway. It had initially been causing a traffic hazard in the area of Wilshire Boulevard and Spalding Drive, CBS said. Authorities tried to make contact with the driver but it drove off before stopping again at the intersection where the stand-off then began. It eventually ended when the SWAT team managed to break a side window and used a drone to look inside the vehicle. The team then approached and found the driver unconscious, according to reports. People were being told by authorities to avoid the scene and traffic was being diverted from the area.
