One of records shearing's most stunning days - women's record smashed

Amy Silcock’s shearing world record has lasted less than a week. On Wednesday, one of New Zealand’s most successful female competition shearers, Catherine Mullooly, broke Silcock’s women’s eight-hour strongwool ewe-shearing record in emphatic style.Silcock had set the new mark at Ross Na Clonagh farm near Pahīatua on Sunday, shearing 386 ewes.
