A BRITISH sailor has been arrested for the alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl in Cyprus. It comes after the Royal Navy launched a probe into allegations of sexual abuse in the submarine service.

Republic of Cyprus Police arrested the Royal Navy rating, 19, after his alleged victim, said to be a British tourist, reported him.
