Laura Lynch, one of the founding members of the Dixie Chicks, has died aged 65. According to reports, the singer was involved in a car crash in Texas, in the US, on Friday evening. The musician's cousin reported the news to TMZ, saying that it happened while she was driving on the highway. According to TMZ, The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed Lynch's death, revealing that the accident occurred when another driver tried to overtake a vehicle on a two-lane highway, which resulted in a head-on collision with Lynch's car.
