THE DEATH of a toddler led to a man's murder conviction and death sentence. After he was found guilty of the first-degree murder of child Adam Broomhall, Richard Fairchild was sentenced to death.

On October 12, 2022, the parole board denied the request and decided to proceed with the scheduled execution. Regarding the board's decision, attorney general John O'Connor stated: ...The medical examiner determined that Adam suffered four to six blows on the front of his head.
