US Politics | Urgent hunt for man after woman in her 20s ‘raped by stranger on night out in city centre’
COPS have launched an urgent hunt for a man after a woman was allegedly raped during a night out. The incident took place between 3.30am and 4.30am in Bristol on October 30. Twitter/Avon and Somerset PoliceCops want to speak to this man in connection with the alleged rape '/ ' A woman, in her 20s, had been at a bar in the city centre with friends and was on her way home alone when she was approached by a stranger. Avon and Somerset Police want to speak to a man seen in the area at the time. He is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s and about 5ft 7ins tall. Police enquiries show that a number of people passed by as the attack happened, both on foot and in vehicles, and officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in Denmark Street at about that time. "This appeal is just one of our lines of enquiry but I would urge anyone who was on Denmark Street between 3.30 and 4.30am to come forward. "You might not realise it but you could have the key piece of information we need." Cops are keen to hear from drivers with dashcam footage or people with mobile phone footage of the area at the time.
