A JUDGE stopped a court hearing when "noisy" porn was heard playing through a solicitor's computer. Recorder Jeremy Richardson, KC, halted the drugs-into-jail smuggling hearing for a week when attempts to mute the X-rated racket failed.

Other accused were in Sheffield crown court with their briefs. One barrister said: "There had been porn noises coming through on the CVP. "Everybody in court heard it. It was loud and it was obvious." The barrister said Recorder Richardson asked a solicitor to mute their microphone but the sex noises continued. The lawyer said his computer had been hacked.
