US Politics | London Heron Tower incident:Sushi Samba on lockdown after person falls from building
A SUSHI restaurant based high in a City of London tower block was on lockdown today after a person fell from the 46-floor building. Members of the public have been urged to avoid the area, close to Liverpool Street, as cops probe the incident. He wrote: ...We are on the 37th floor and some people up here saw them fall. Tragic.... Others reported the high-end restaurant was temporarily closed while officers investigated the fall. A spokesman for City of London Police confirmed the fall today. Chief Superintendent Rob Atkin said: ...Officers from the City of London Police are currently dealing with at an incident on Houndsditch. ...Police arrived on scene at around 2pm. ...Cordons are currently in place and the public are urged to avoid the area if possible while emergency services remain in attendance....
