Despite the Laundries' efforts to dismiss the suit, a judge ruled in favor of the Petitos with a jury trial scheduled for August 2023. Last month, attorneys for Chris and Roberta filed a motion asking the judge to limit the presented evidence to the period between Gabby's death in August 2021 and the discovery of her body a few weeks later.
