A MAN died after accidentally falling into the River Thames \- while on girlfriend tragically watched on FaceTime. James East, 25, from Swansea, had been out with his girlfriend Arabella in Kingston, London, to celebrate a birthday on September 25.

James had been out with his girlfriend but they were split up so the young man went outside to call her on FaceTime and track her down. Chatting on the phone, James then sat on a walled area of a bridge, roughly around hip height, but misjudged his seating position.
