THE former lead detective in charge of the search warrant for Breonna Taylor's home that led to the deadly raid has been arrested. The FBI arrested ex-Louisville police detective Joshua Jaynes on Thursday and slapped him with conspiracy charges. Jaynes' colleague, Myles Cosgrove, fired the fatal shot, an FBI ballistics report concluded. Jaynes is now the second Louisville police officer to be charged in the fatal March 2020 raid of Taylor's home.
