THE former lead detective in charge of the search warrant for Breonna Taylor's home that led to the deadly raid has been arrested. The FBI arrested ex-Louisville police detective Joshua Jaynes on Thursday and slapped him with conspiracy charges.

The former detective's attorney, Thomas Clay, told The Journal it was unclear what the official charges are, but he believes it relates to conspiracy to falsify records in relation to a federal investigation. Jaynes' colleague, Myles Cosgrove, fired the fatal shot, an FBI ballistics report concluded.
