At around 5.40pm ET, a local reporter took to her Twitter account to announce that a car had allegedly driven through the holiday parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She added: ...Heavy police and ambulance presence now. Tons of families with children running to their cars to leave the scene.... According to social media, shots were fired from the SUV. However, Waukesha Police Chief Dan Thompson clarified during a press conference that the shots were fired by a police officer attempting to stop the SUV. Authorities added that no one was injured by the gunfire.
