A TRAIN collided with a car Monday afternoon, leaving one person dead in Jemison, Alabama. Police said the crash took place around 4:27 p.m. at the Guy Street railroad crossing.
WBRCOne person is dead after a train collided with a car in Jemison, Alabama '/ ' Two adults and three children were inside the vehicle but it's unknown how it ended up at the crossing. The driver was a 40-year-old woman who was pronounced dead at the scene. Jemison Police said that a 24-year-old woman was airlifted to UAB Hospital. An 11-year-old girl was also airlifted to Children's of Alabama. A 16-year-old boy and a 13-year old girl were transported to Children's of Alabama by ambulance. "This is an active investigation being conducted by our Traffic Homicide Investigators and will be for quite some time.
