Kyle Rittenhouse stated he "didn't know he was going to be arrested for defending" himself when he turned himself in to police final August.

In an unique interview with Fox News's Tucker Carlson, Rittenhouse stated he didn't know what would occur when he turned himself into police in Antioch, Illinois.

"I used to be in shock. My head was spinning from being hit within the head a number of occasions. I had some minor accidents. I simply didn't know," Rittenhouse informed Carlson. "I didn't know I used to be going to be arrested for defending myself as a result of every part was on video."

Rittenhouse was then taken to the Robert W. Depke Juvenile Middle. Throughout his interview with Carlson, Rittenhouse praised the guards on the juvenile middle.

Carlson was stunned by Rittenhouse's remarks and responded with "actually?"
