Sydney Zoo in 'deep shock' after death of chimpanzee Mogli
Zookeepers at Sydney Zoo in Western Sydney are in "deep shock" after chimpanzee Mogli was discovered lifeless this morning.
Patrons on the zoo have been requested to remain of their automobiles and guests have been briefly delayed entry to the zoo as authorities labored to get well Mogli's physique.
In a press release, the zoo stated it was presently investigating the circumstances of its dying.
"Sydney Zoo is gloomy to announce the dying of Mogli a beloved member of our chimpanzee troop," the zoo stated in a press release.
"Mogli was discovered within the chimpanzee habitat this morning by our workforce. We're at present investigating the circumstances and as soon as extra info is understood we'll make an extra assertion.
"We want to affirm that media stories of an escaped animal are false. The workforce are in a state of deep shock and grief."
